I completed my bachelors at Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, India in Electronics and Communications Engineering. I have lots of interest on working in the field of automation and robotics. For gaining expertise in this field, doing a masters in Embedded Systems was the best option for me.

Embedded system is an amalgamation of computer architecture and computer science with some control systems. Doing this program helps in getting knowledge of many fields and opens doors to many industries.

I wanted to study in one the finest technological institutes in the world that is working on some unique research works in the field of automation and robotics. TU Delft ranks among top 20 technical institutes (according to QS university rankings) in the world and has good industry tie-ups. Another reason for choosing this university was the importance given to start-ups. TU Delft has its own incubation centre called Yes!Delft, which is known as one of the best incubation centres in Europe for High-Tech start-ups.

My master programme meets my expectations that I desired. In fact there are many new interesting things that I came to know after coming here. There are very few universities in the world that have an expertise on embedded systems and have a programme specifically curated for it. When I googled for best universities for embedded systems TU Delft was among the top universities.

I did a course called Turning Technology into Business where I was given a patent and was supposed to come up with a product and its commercial viability. This programme caters the increasing industrial demands so has lots of job opportunities and is a combination of multiple domains like control systems, computer architecture, software and networking. It helps in making a diverse profile as well.

One thing I like about this university is the total freedom to select your own courses, make your own study plan and that very basic requirements need to be met for a visa. There are many Dream Teams where you can be a part of and work on some amazing projects like Hyperloop and gain practical expertise. 

After my graduation I want to be an entrepreneur and start with my own tech company addressing the greatest problems today with innovative solutions.
