Organisations and platforms
Below a list of organisations and platforms that (also) cater to international students. Please note that these are only listed to aid you in your search for accommodation. TU Delft has no affiliation with these organisations and platforms and cannot be held responsible for services and accommodations offered by them.
Unfurnished student accommodations
In the Netherlands it is very common to rent unfurnished accommodations. Though sometimes a priority scheme is in place for international students, be aware that this is a competitive market on which Dutch students are also looking for accommodation.
ROOM.nl
ROOM.nl is the platform on which DUWO and other organisations advertise their vacant student accommodations. Registering requires a one-time fee of €35,-. The longer you are registered, the higher your ranking. If you intend to stay in Delft for multiple years, registering with ROOM.nl will probably help you obtain an accommodation later in your studies. Though on a selected number of accommodations, international students coming from abroad will be offered priority for contracts starting in June, July, August and September. Vote-ins
When a room becomes available in a student residence, the remaining tenants can select their new flatmate. This procedure is called voting in, a.k.a. candidating or co-opting. You can find upcoming vote-ins on the DUWO website. Note that this procedure usually involves an evening in which candidates visit the property to undergo a selection procedure.
Furnished student accommodations
Most organisations that cater to international students offer furnished accommodations that are rented out for a fixed rental period. Please note not all providers include utilities and municipal taxes in their rent prices. The following organisations and platforms also offer furnished accommodations.

Xior housing at Phoenixstraat is available for first-year (prospective) international students who apply for the TU Delft's Housing service during the enrolment process. Students gain access to the housing portal in May or December based on a first-paid-first-served principle. If you are given access to the housing portal and you choose a room from Xior you will receive a booking code which can be used on the website of Xior. Xior also has branches at Antonia Veerstraat and Barbarasteeg and these are for PhD students and graduate/undergraduate students, but these branches are not within the scope of the TU Delft’s Housing service.5Huizen Vastgoedbeheer

The platform where (international) students can book their accommodation with a group or as an individual entirely online. Booking a flat is safe, secure and only takes a matter of minutes. Tenants can book flats on the basis of accurate descriptions, photos and video viewings. And what’s more - as long as your numbers are correct - RoomPlaza offers flats for your entire group. If you do not have a group yet, you can use the find-flatmate-tool to create one! This service is free of charge. When you want to contact an advertiser or book a room, you will have to buy a subscription. A hospita or a host is someone who rents out a room in their own home while they still live there.

This organization is a part of Student Housing The Hague. They ask no agency or mediation fees from the tenants. They offer complete management assistance to hospita’s with regard to administrative-, financial-, and legal management. Among other things, they facilitate the check-in, pre check-out and the check-out to make sure everything is documented correctly which is important with the reimbursement of the deposit. They secure the deposit during the stay and act as intermediary between the tenant and the hospita.
As a tenant, you will get access to their tenant portal where you can contact them 24/7 and have access to all your documents and invoices. As a tenant, you can feel confident that a qualified party is actively involved during your entire stay at the hospita.
