Faculty Scholarships

TU Delft also offers an array of scholarships through the faculties, sometimes in cooperation with industry partners.  These scholarship programmes range from partial tuition waiver or living expenses (Talent Scholarships) to full scholarships (all tuition fees plus living expenses).

The following TU Delft faculties offer additional scholarships to international MSc students:

Faculty of Aerospace Engineering
Eligibility Excellent international applicants admitted to one of the faculty’s MSc programmes, with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 80 percent or higher of the scale maximum in your bachelor’s degree from an internationally renowned university.
Extent of Scholarship

Partial or full contribution to fees and living expenses for two years.

Membership to the Scholarship club giving access to personal development, workshops, seminars, etc.

Procedure

To be considered for these scholarships, your complete application for a MSc programme must be uploaded before 1 December.

Please note that non-EU students must include the English test with their application. EU students can submit this in later stage according to the Admission instructions.

Only students meeting this deadline who have been (conditionally) admitted to one of the MSc programmes of the faculty will be considered for these scholarships.

In addition to all the regular documents for a MSc programme application, you must also upload a Scholarship Application Form in which you make clear why you are applying for the scholarship.

Granting Students who have been granted a scholarship will be informed by TU Delft via email by mid-March.

Faculty of Applied Sciences

Eligibility

Excellent international (non-Dutch) students who have been admitted to one of the following MSc programmes: Applied Physics, Chemical Engineering, Life Science & Technology (Department of Biotechnology), Nanoscience and Science Education & Communication.

Procedure

To be considered for these scholarships, your complete application for an MSc programme must be received before 1 April.

All international (non-Dutch) students who have been (conditionally) admitted to one of the MSc programmes of this faculty will be evaluated on all the materials provided in their application and interviews.

There is no separate application procedure for these scholarships.

Granting

Students who have been granted a scholarship will be informed by the faculty per email between mid-March and 1 June.

Only those students who have been selected will be contacted regarding this scholarship.

Faculty of Applied Sciences Scholarships

Faculty of Architecture & the Built Environment
Eligibility Excellent international applicants admitted to one of the faculty’s MSc programmes, with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 80 percent or higher of the scale maximum in your bachelor’s degree from an internationally renowned university.

Eligibility

Excellent students who have been admitted to one of the following MSc programmes.

Procedure

To be considered for these scholarships, your complete application for an MSc programme must be uploaded before 1 October

There is no separate application procedure; all admitted students will be considered. Selections will be based on the application documents.

Granting

Students who have been granted a faculty scholarship for the February intake will be informed by the faculty by email before 15 November.
