DISS

We are an international group of motivated students. Our goal is to bring students from all nationalities together and improve their stay in Delft.

Delft International Student Society (DISS) is “from students, to students, for students.” We aim to represent the needs of international students at TU Delft as well as, to bring students from all nationalities together and improve their overall stay in Delft. Not only does DISS deal with day-to-day problems of the international community, but we also organize various activities, workshops, and events such as movie night, bowling to cooking workshops. We support students in all areas from housing to networking/career, and to education.

Snack with Us

An ongoing, weekly collaborative event between MoTiv, Lijst Bèta, and DISS to set up a relaxing, comfortable environment for students. As corona restrictions have prevented many students from social events and getting to know their peers, we set up a night where these students can swing by to get to know a little bit more about DISS and meeting others while sharing a bite. Occasionally, there are guest speakers and games set up for a fun evening.

Double your Dutch

Want to mingle easily with the locals? Are you interested learning basic Dutch words to have simple conversation? Then join us to learn Dutch through games, group competition, and of course, Dutch music! Taught by a teacher at Piece of Dutch, Debbie Butarbutar. It is an evening of fun, unforgettable experiences! Double your Dutch is an event that is part of the X Health Week program.
