TU Delft Energy Club

The TU Delft Energy Club is a student-led organisation committed to facilitate opportunities for sustainable energy enthusiasts.

Founded in 2009 by the Delft Energy Initiative (DEI), the TU Delft Energy Club is a student-led organisation committed to facilitate opportunities for sustainable energy enthusiasts.

We believe that students can have a positive impact on the energy transition. Our vision for the year is to act as a key facilitator in the sustainable energy transition for students. We want to provide a solid platform for students to connect to the industry, policy makers and researchers in the field of energy. We hope to have you by our side in our journey.

To realize our vision we organize and host multiple events and fulfill several activities during the year. These events consist of: Lectures, Workshops, Excursions and Debates. During these events we try to invite interesting speakers and let them present a wide range of topics varying from the need of Nuclear Energy to the current Dream Team progress. These speakers vary from CEO's of companies to journalists to students.

Besides these events we are busy finding internship positions and thesis topics within the field of Sustainable Energy.  We do this by actively contacting companies and research groups.

As a final activity we help support the 8 'pillars' of the DEI. These 8 pillars are research groups who are actively doing research in the field of Energy. We support them by connecting them to students and help them fulfill smaller projects. The research groups consist of professors and PhD students and have topics varying from Wind Energy to Urban Energy. You can have a look at their website for more information: www.tudelft.nl/energy/.

Students can take part in all these activities by signing up as a member on our website for FREE!
Regarding all these activities that we organize and participate in, we hope to facilitate a platform broad enough for every student to find something interesting on!
