TUDASA

TUDASA is a student association for students of African heritage and all seeking an Afro-centric cultural exchange.

Founded in 2006, TUDASA aims to create a strong educational and socio-cultural base for prospective African students and researchers at TU Delft. We welcome all other students and researchers who are interested in engaging with our highly diverse and rich African culture.

In our bid to ensure members feel at home we organize various social events to foster a supportive informal community. Career events provide the opportunity to interact with alumni and other relevant figures from the continent and the diaspora as well as acquire useful skills and tips for life post-TU Delft.

Projects

Career Questions Day

Alumni in various fields both in academia and industry come to answer your most pressing questions about life in and after TU Delft.

Welcome Dinner

In the first quarter, we host a welcome dinner for new and old members. Each year a different country/region’s cuisine is chosen so that members get to experience a variety of foods from all over the continent.

Afrobeat Dance Workout

One of our most popular annual events. The general student body is invited to learn contemporary african dance moves taught by some of our very own members. These are from all over the continent and include eskista, azonto, shoki, gwara gwara and many more!
