Hello there! My name is Jeffrel and I am from Agusan del Sur, Philippines. I am a graduate student of TU Delft. Currently, I am pursuing double masters in Electrical Engineering (MSc EE) and Complex Systems Engineering & Management (MSc CoSEM) at the faculty of EEMCS and TPM, respectively. I initially come to TU Delft as an exchange student, and I fell in love with the university immediately. The quality education and world-class campus of TU Delft pushed me to pursue graduate studies here in Delft. Although challenging, studying in TU Delft means that you are able to learn new things especially those research where TU Delft is one of the global frontrunners. I also work as a TA in several courses & projects in both EEMCS and TPM faculty where I get to experience the “working” side of the university.
Being a student and a busy TA can be difficult sometimes, but it comes with a lot of suitable occasions to learn new knowledge and skills. The Dutch style of education allows me to take responsibility of my studies actively by strategically planning my schedule long before deadlines. Also, The Netherlands has a good work-life balance which allows people who live here to live a stress-free life. Living in this country allows me to see the efficiency of the Dutch society which is also one of the main reasons why I fell in love living here.
As a student ambassador, I wish I inspire you to pursue your studies here in TU Delft. Lots of opportunities awaits you here! If you have further questions, feel free to drop us a message.
