Biografie

Dr. Barys Shyrokau is an Assistant Professor at the Intelligent Vehicles group at the Department of Cognitive Robotics, Delft University of Technology.  From 2014 till 2017 he was a post-doctoral researcher at Biomechanical Department of 3ME. He received PhD degree in the framework of Joint PhD Program between Nanyang Technological University and Technical University Munich, and DiplEng degree with first-class honours in Automotive Engineering at the Belarusian National Technical University, Belarus.  

Projecten

He performed and managed research projects in Lawrence Technological University (Michigan, USA), Technical University of Ilmenau (Germany), the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO), domain Applied and Engineering Sciences “Truck Merging Support – a Step towards Autonomous Driving” and H2020-MSCA-RISE-2014 EVE “Innovative Engineering of Ground Vehicles with Integrated Active Chassis Systems” (WP leader).

My main expertise is related to vehicle modelling and simulation, vehicle control, enhanced steering feel, driving comfort and driving simulator technologies.
