  • AePW3 - Large Deflection Working Group within the Third Aeroelastic Predicition Workshop, NASA (https://nescacademy.nasa.gov/workshops/AePW3/public/)

Expertise

Christoph's research facilitates the application of state-of-the-art aerodynamic measurement technology for the application in aeroelastic wind tunnel experiments. The measurement approach is based on large-scale particle tracking velocimetry, which is used to study the aerodynamic and structural behavior of the wind tunnel model with a non-intrusive, integrated approach. The aeroelastic problems that are studied with this approach are the static and dynamic aeroelasticity of (highly) flexible wings and active gust load alleviation.
