Innovative controls for renewable source integration into smart energy systems(INCITE)
Biografie
Hazem Abdelghany joined the IEPG group as a PhD candidate in October 2016 as part of the INCITE Horizon 2020 Project. He was recruited from Egypt, where he obtained his BSc. and MSc. degrees in electrical & control engineering at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), in 2012 and 2015 respectively. Between 2012 and 2015 Hazem was appointed by the electrical and control engineering department at the AASTMT as a graduate teaching assistant, then as a lecturer assistant until September 2016. In IEPG, Hazem is working on developing market-based control techniques for power systems with heterogeneous distributed energy resources.
