8 Fantastic researchers are chosen with their best paper, published in 2022 as winner of their theme/institute. 4 Finalists for the Climate Action Programme and 4 finalists for the Delft Energy Initiative.Er is een kenniskloof wat betreft de klimaateffecten van de niet-CO2 uitstoot van de luchtvaart. Jin Maruhashi simuleerde hoe uitgestote stikstofoxiden (NOx) wereldwijd door de atmosfeer worden getransporteerd. Daarna gebruikte hij een neurowetenschappelijk machine learning algoritme om patronen in die data te ontdekken. Voor zijn onderzoek ontving hij de prijs voor Best Climate Action Paper van de TU Delft.
