Profiel
Dr. Remco Hartkamp is an associate professor at TU Delft, with an interest in solid-fluid interfacial phenomena at multiple scales. He has a dual PhD from the University of Twente and Swinburne University of Technology and held postdoctoral positions at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Vanderbilt University. These positions focused on gaining a molecular-level understanding of interfacial properties through molecular simulation. Since then, Remco has also adopted mesoscopic and macroscopic simulation tools as well as experiments. A lot of the current activities in the team focus on describing fluid transport in electrochemical processes, such as CO2 electrolysis and water electrolysis.
