Biografie
Simone is a PhD researcher in the Wind Energy section of the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering at the Delft University of Technology. Born and raised in Italy, he completed a BEng Aeronautics & Astronautics at the University of Southampton, where he designed the new active grid for the boundary layer wind tunnel. He continued his studies with a MSc Aerodynamics and Computation, analysing the turbulent wake of a set of porous plates through PIV. His PhD project started in October 2022 and concerns a static and dynamic experimental investigation of aifoils at high Reynolds for wind turbines applications.
