Biografie
Ujala Farooq received her Bachelor’s degree in Polymer Engineering from University of Engineering & Technology Lahore, Pakistan, in 2015. She obtained her Master’s degree in Erasmus Mundus Membrane Engineering from Université Montpellier, Université Paul Sabatier, Institute of Chemical Technology Prague, and University of Zaragoza in 2017. She was awarded with Karlsruhe house of young scientist. From 2017 to 2019, she served as a lecturer in the Department of Chemical, Polymer & Composite Materials Engineering, University of Engineering & Technology Lahore. She is now a Ph.D. candidate at the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering, Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands. Her research topic focuses on the hierarchically structured polymer matrices under the supervision of Dr. Julie Teuwen and Professor Clemens Dransfeld.

Ze behaalde haar Master in Erasmus Mundus Membrane Engineering aan de Université Montpellier, Université Paul Sabatier, Institute of Chemical Technology Prague en University of Zaragoza in 2017. Ze werd bekroond met Karlsruhe huis van jonge wetenschapper.

Van 2017 tot 2019 was ze docent bij de afdeling Chemical, Polymer & Composite Materials Engineering, University of Engineering & Technology Lahore. Ze is nu een Ph.D. kandidaat bij de Faculteit Luchtvaart- en Ruimtevaarttechniek, Technische Universiteit Delft, Nederland. Haar onderzoeksthema richt zich op de hiërarchisch gestructureerde polymeermatrices onder supervisie van Dr. Julie Teuwen en Professor Clemens Dransfeld.
