If you would like to participate in another TU Delft foreign-based International programme than Study Abroad, you also have multiple options!

Summer Schools

The TU Delft offers their students to experience an unique study programme during the summer break in July and August. More information regarding the Summer Schools can be found here.

ATHENS programme

The ATHENS programme is available every year in November and March and is most suitable for third-year BSc and MSc students. The programme intends to give students a taste of another European educational system and immerses them into courses of a high scientific level of one week for which they receive 2 ECTS and a scholarship.

UNITECH programme

The UNITECH programme is a 1 year programme which offers TU Delft students to study abroad, like an Exchange,at a UNITECH partner university and to do an internship abroad at one of the Corporate Partners together. The aim of the UNITECH International programme is to integrate an engineering degree with international experience and a solid basis in business and management.

IDEA League Research Grant

The IDEA League offers students of its five partner universities short-term research programmes. The partner universities are: Politecnico di Milano, Chalmers, RWTH Aachen, ETH Zürich en TU Delft. The grant can be used on all student levels (Bachelor, Master, PhD) and is not intended for students who also want to attend courses during their exchange period.

IAESTE

The International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience, is a global organization with 86 participating countries; within this organization there are exchanges, technical internships and trainees. IAESTE is extra convenient for students because everything is arranged: housing, permits, salary and the IAESTE Local committee that takes you in will make sure you experience all aspects of their culture.

Global E3

The Global Engineering Education Exchange is a consortium approximately 70 schools of engineering, 35 of which are in the United States. This consortium provides exchange opportunities for Bachelor (and some Master) engineering students to study abroad for a semester or year at one of these 70 institutions.
