Follow these steps to have the grades and credit points you obtained abroad recognised.
You must bring the following documents when you return to the Netherlands:
- A signed and stamped transcript of records(showing all subjects taken). If you have not yet received your transcript on your return, it will be sent to you or to the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment. If the latter is the case, we will notify you through your student email address.
- An explanation of the grading system.
- A clear description of all the courses taken, see the TU Delft Study Guide for a guideline. You can use the information in the host university’s study guide.
Bachelor students: upon return you have to fill in the form ‘Vrije en Externe minor (Aanvraag Erkenning Studieresultaten)’ in order to transfer the credit points you obtained abroad.
Master students: upon return you have to fill in the form ‘Academic achievements abroad’ in order to transfer the credit points you obtained abroad.

Send the documents of the partner university (step 1) and the filled form (step 2) and all necessary attachments (if necessary, written on the form of step 2) to the Board of Examiners email@example.com. Once your request has been dealt with, the Board of Examiners will inform you by letter on the credits and grades obtained.
You are required to write a report of your study abroad period (in English). The report should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. Some grant authorities also require the travel report. Please check the requirements of the grant.
