Welcome at our faculty, at this page you find information about the start of the bachelor AES. Read this page carefully, information will be updated regularly.

Introduction day

We expect to see you on Monday September 2nd, 09.30 hrs, in lecture room E. On this day we will welcome you and provide you with all the necessary information. 

On this day you will also meet your mentor. All first year students are placed into mentor groups. A mentor is a senior student who will help first year students getting around. From him or her you will receive information concerning the mentor system. Here you can read more about the mentor system online. 

Freshmen weekend AES

The Freshmen weekend for future Applied Earth Sciences students takes place from 15th till 18th of August 2019. You can sign up by sending an e-mail to Secretaris-MV@tudelft.nl.

Academic community

You will be part of an academic community, this includes an academic attitude. Make sure that you check the Code of Honour and Code of Ethics so that you know what we expect from you as a student at TU Delft. Read the page academic attitude for more information.

Ordering study materials
Check the website book- and reader sales to get your literature. Books can also be purchased at the "Mijnbouwkundige Vereeniging", the student association of AES.
