Grant Information

The Holland Scholarship is a scholarship made available by the Dutch Ministry of Education Culture and Science together with Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences. It is meant for students who want to study, do research, or do an internship outside the European Economic Area (EEA). There is a limited number of Holland Scholarships available - 64 scholarships for 2021-2022 and students will be selected by their faculty. Information about the selection procedure and deadline can be obtained from the Faculty’s International Exchange Office.

The contribution towards your study/internship expenses is a one-off compensation of €1250. Please note that a Holland Scholarship is not meant to cover all your expenses. It is a limited allowance toward the extra expenses you will incur while living abroad. If the Holland Scholarship is awarded, it will be paid to you in one instalment after your return, upon receipt of your travel report.
