Accommodation while abroad

Ask your host university or the company where you will be working well in advance for information on how to find a room. Most host universities often arrange accommodation for incoming exchange students, so it is important to get in contact at an early stage. The TU Delft exchange programme database contains information on this subject for each individual university.

Subletting and sublet-contracts

  • The Student Union VSSD can help you with all your questions regarding subletting. They also provide a temporary lease agreement in Dutch on their website.
  • When you decide to sublet your room, make sure to inform the municipality with your (possibly) temporary address (e.g. your parents).
