This fast growing, high-tech company, located in the Amsterdam area, designs, develops and manufactures high-tech electric motion and control loading systems for a wide variety of applications and specializes in the development and build of simulation platforms, such as vehicle simulations, entertainment rides, research and development and many more! These systems include a mechanical, electrical, real-time and non-real-time software components and are sold to a worldwide customer base.
Thanks to their extended experience in the fields of motion systems, hardware platforms and control loaders, they understand simulator requirements in every aspect, also providing force feedback control solutions in the shape of steering wheels and pedals.
For a new product line of haptic medial training devices they have set up a young and enthusiastic team of engineers. With their broad knowledge of simulators they offer the medical world new ways to train their surgeons with a product line of haptic medical training devices.
Your primary responsibility is to architect and develop the training environment and patient visualization for doctors using the HoloLens Mixed Reality platform. It’s up to you to look for development opportunities and propose implementations.
An important aspect of this job is that you give input and feedback to the programming team during development. You will be working closely with software and control engineers to concept and iterate on product ideas and give feedback on other team member’s input.
You need to be a self-starter and able to operate in a highly dynamic environment. Not only do you get the chance to take your own responsibilities and grow within the company, you also have the possibility for personal development through courses.
- TU Delft, bachelor or master Computer Science or similar
- Knowledge of C# and C++
- Strong software design and architecture skills
- Knowledge of 3D graphics (gained during studies or as a hobby)
- Creative and thinking out-of-the box
- Knowledge with the HoloLens and DirectX is a plus
- Work independently and show initiative
