Join the sustainable movement

TU Delft is investing in making the campus more sustainable. In the coming years, we will take steps towards a carbon neutral, circular and climate adaptive campus, with a focus on improving biodiversity and quality of life.

To pursue this sustainable transition, we need a resilient community. With a community, we also create a bottom-up movement towards a sustainable campus. The TU Delft community refers to all people using the campus: students, PhDs, postdocs, academic staff, lecturers, supporting staff, managers, external parties, and citizens of Delft.

Becoming active

Are you ready to take part in making the campus more sustainable? There are several initiatives and opportunities that you can join.

For students

There are several opportunities for students to actively contribute to sustainability on the TU Delft Campus. GreenTU is a green student initiative that works together with the university corporate office to make the campus more sustainable. At each of TU Delft’s faculties, GreenTU has a team of motivated students who work for sustainability at their faculty. As a student you can join a GreenTeam, or other student initiatives. Learn more about these initiatives on this page.

For employees

As a TU Delft employee, you can make an impact within your own department or faculty and make the campus more sustainable. Within each faculty and department, there is a Local Sustainability Coordinator (LSC). This is the ambassador who is attached to the Sustainability Project Team. Join a LSC, by mailing to the Communication Officer, Tessa van Mourik.
