Climate Leadership Journey

Description

The Climate Leadership Journey (CLJ) is an international educational initiative by the EIT Climate KIC. It aims to equip participants with an active network of changemakers to support them to become resilient change agents and future leaders who shape our society and its ecological, social, and economic foundational systems towards a climate just setup.

The programme lasts from the end of April to December 2022. It will entail learning activities for approximately 180 hours (6ECTS).

What to expect?

The Climate Leadership Journey comprises three learning dimensions:

1) Inspirational events through which you will have the opportunity to get to know other participants. In late April, the course will kick off to connect and build an international community for systemic transformation. With monthly online Spark events, you can follow thought-provoking lectures and workshops that explore future-oriented skills, global challenges and solutions. In December, all participants will meet as one international community for Digital Community Summit/Graduation Ceremony.

2) Experiential Learning during a two-week international summer school (possible locations: Italy, Ireland, Portugal or the Czech Republic) with Summer School fees, living expenses for accommodation, breakfasts and lunches provided by the EIT Climate KIC (you are only expected to cover the travel expenses to the summer school location and dinners); as well as with coach-supported Individual Impact Projects

3) Personal Development through Group and Individual Coaching Sessions will help you face the environmental, social and economic challenges of climate change and become an active innovator and support tools conceived to improve your leadership (Leadership Log).
