B. (Benjamin) Botor, MSc.
Profile
I am currently with encoord GmbH where I pursue a PhD in cooperation with TU Delft. I have received my MSc and BSc in Industrial Engineering from the University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany, in 2020 and 2018, respectively. During my studies I spent one year at Tsinghua University, Beijing, was an intern with PwC, NREL, and GIZ, and a student research assistant at Fraunhofer UMSICHT before working at the Chair of Energy Economics in Essen.
Research
My research focusses on electricity system modelling, where I have special interest in production cost modelling, capacity and transmission expansion modelling and representation of sector coupling.
