M. (Mahsa) Farhani
Profile
Mahsa Farhani is a PhD candidate in the Transport and Logistics section, within the Technology, Policy and Management faculty of TU Delft. She is working under the supervision of Prof. Caspar G. Chorus and Dr. Yousef Maknoon. Mahsa received her Bachelor's and Master's degree in Industrial Engineering both from Sharif University of Technology, Iran. She also has working experience as a research and development specialist and consultant in the Logistics industry.
Research
Mahsa’s research focuses on the assortment planning and decision-making models. She utilizes the combinations of the optimization and choice behavior models to provide a behaviourally realistic mathematical model which replicates humans bounded rationality. Her research interests include Revenue Management, Operations Management, Assortment Planning, and Decision-Making models.
