J.J. (Johan) de Wit

Profile

Johan de Wit (1965) is an external (Contract Industry) PhD candidate at the Faculty of Technology, Policy, and Management in the Safety and Security Science Group. He received his degree Master in Security, Science and Management from TU Delft in 2013. Currently, he is conducting research on the balance of actual and perceived security and the effectiveness of (physical) security measures.

Besides this study he is working for Siemens Building Technologies as Solution manager Enterprise Security. In this role he is enhancing safety and security at relations of Siemens in critical infrastructure and corporate environments. He is involved in safety and security projects from early consultancy in risk analysis until the actual implementation of safety and security systems and processes. Besides this he is involved in global portfolio- and product management of Siemens Building technologies.
