Profile
Alessandro Taberna is a PhD candidate at the Policy Analysis section of the Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management. He graduated cum laude with a Master’s degree in Economics awarded by the University of Torino. He developed his passion for research in complex systems while completing his Master thesis entitled “Brexit, Labour and Migration: an Agent-Based Model". He worked as a financial analyst for the European Investment Bank in the Risk Management department.
Research
Within the ‘Center for Social Complexity of Climate Change’ he works with ABMs and model integration/cross-scale processes. In particular, his current research focuses on how the autonomous adaptation of interacting heterogeneous households and firms affects regional climate-induced damages and resilience.
