A. (Ahmad) Luthfi


I graduated my master degree in Computer Science at Universitas Gadjah Mada in the year 2005. I have been lecturing in the field of Informatics/Computer Science at Department of Informatics Universitas Islam Indonesia since 2012 - now. I also have various experiences in teaching and academic staff for about 13 years in my previous institution (Universitas Bina Darma (1999-2012)) in the same field. In the last five years, my research areas are focused on the Computer Networking, Computer and Digital Forensics, and Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). I have already published several papers both conference proceedings and journals. Currently, I have been joining research as a PhD Candidate at ICT Section – Faculty of Technology, Policy, and Management (TPM) Delft University of Technology since January 2017 under supervision of Professor Marijn Janssen.


My PhD research is concentrated on the Decision-making support for evaluating and assessing the potential risks and merits of open data. I am looking for the balanced possibility of the potential risks and merits of open data using decision-making support. The potential risks and merits of open data will be evaluated and assessed in order to acquire strong decision for decision-making policy.
