H. (Hong) Yan

Profile

Hong is a PhD candidate in the transport and logistics section. He got the bachelor degree in Urban Planning at Northeast Normal University (Changchun, China) and the master degree in Human Geography from East China Normal University (Shanghai, China). He had worked as an urban planner in Shanghai Tongji Urban Planning and Design Institute.

Research

His research is focusing on the variation in cycling speeds. The first part is the cycling speed differences among different cyclists and bicycle types. Another part is the variation within a trip and the determinants of this variation.
