L.E. (Lauri) De Boer, Drs.
I am an External PhD candidate at the TU Delft’s Transport & Logistics group with a background in economics and an interest in project assessment and normative ethical aspects in the spatial and mobility domain.
Besides my PhD-research, I work as a self-employed researcher and consultant in the field of public transport, shared mobility, and data.
My research focusses on the usefulness and necessity of alternative appraisal methods in addition to or instead of the Social Cost-Benefit Analysis (SCBA). The question is whether the information needs of politicians, civil servants, stakeholders and citizens are changing, now that attention for citizen participations, social wellbeing and SDGs is growing.
