  3. Sunday April 7 2019, I finished my 28th marathon of Rotterdam, bringing my total number of 32 completed marathons. See also my website "Other Interests".
  4. My paper entitled “Grasping Cybersecurity: A Set of Essential Mental Models” has been accepted for presentation at, and publication in the Proceedings of the 18th European Conference on Cyber Warfare and Security, 4 - 5 July 2019, University of Coimbra, Portugal.
  5. February 20 2019, I have been appointed as Member of the Advisory Board in formation (In Dutch: Raad van Advies in oprichting) of the Foundation The Hague Security Delta (HSD).
  6.  Our paper entitled “Developing a Cyber Operations Computational Ontology” written by Clara Maathuis, Wolter Pieters and Jan van den Berg has been published in Volume 17, issue 3 of the Journal of Information Warfare, 2018.
