EIT Health Summerschool

The Call for the EIT Health Entrepreneurship Summer School 2019 is now open!
The Health Entrepreneurship Summerschool is a two-week program focussing on business development for challenges from health care providers.
The program starts with a creathon to identify the challenges and needs in health care institutes and opportunities for you as entrepreneurs to work on.
These opportunities are further explored in ideation and validation workshops in Delft and will materialise in the second week during workshops in Barcelona on go-to market and reimbursement strategies.
The Summer School is co-organized by Delft Centre for Entrepreneurship at TU Delft, “la Caixa” Foundation, IS Global, University of Barcelona, YES!Delft incubator, Philips Healthcare and Achmea Healthcare Insurance.
How to apply
The summer school is for master students with a strong interest in health entrepreneurship.
We ask you to send a cv and motivation letter, which will be reviewed by a selection committee. Submission does not guarantee acceptance, and admission closes when all seats are taken. We will accept between 30-40 participants. Updates will be posted to this website.
There are no requirements, other than you have finished a BSc degree and you master basic English skills.

Participants from EIT Health partners do not have to pay tuition fees. Please see the list of official EIT Health partners.
Participants have to arrange their on hotel reservations.
The summer school starts in Delft, Monday July 1 – Saturday July 6, at the TU Delft Campus, Building 26, Van der Burghweg 1. Downtown Delft has plenty of hotels to choose among.
Monday July 8, the summer school continuous in Barcelona at Case Palau Macaya, Passeig de Sant Joan, 108, 08037, Barcelona until July 12.
All Participants that are accepted, are asked to pay a commitment fee of €250,- which will be refunded on finishing the program.
Accommodation and travel costs to Delft and to Barcelona must be arranged by the participants themselves.
