Pieter van Gelder 25 years at TU Delft

Last Friday November 1st, Pieter van Gelder celebrated his 25th work anniversary at TU Delft. In 1994, Pieter started at TU Delft as a PhD student at the faculty of Civil Engineering. From 2000-2013 he was assistant / associate professor at that same faculty. He worked on risk / probability assessments on flooding and high water. From 2013 onwards, he has been a full professor and head of the section of Safety and Security Science at the faculty of TPM. At the section of Safety and Security Science he develops mathematical models of risk control.

Jos Blank op diverse media over productiviteitsgroei bij overheid

De productiviteitsgroei bij publieke sectoren houdt niet over, dat zegt professor Jos Blank van instituut IPSE, dat sinds jaar en dag de prestaties van de overheid in kaart brengt. De TU Delft is partner in het instituut.

Taylor Stone wins Professional Lighting Design Recognition Award

This weekend TPM researcher Taylor Stone won a Professional Lighting Design Recognition Award in the category of Research at the Professional Lighting Design Convention. This was mainly for his PhD work on the ethics of night-time lighting, as well as his continued work as a postdoc at TU Delft.

PRISMA bijdrage wint Best Responsible Innovation Case op Ethac conferentie 2019

Een bijdrage van het PRISMA project ontving een prijs voor “Best Responsible Innovation Case” op de Ethac 2019 Triple Helix Conference vorige week. De bijdrage heeft de titel: “A roadmap for the Responsible Research and Innovation uptake in the industrial context: a tool for strategy setting and RRI impact evaluation”. Het komt voort uit het door de EU gefinancierde project PRISMA dat wordt geleid door de TU Delft.
