A.C.P. (Adri) Frijters
Adri Frijters is a research coordinator on occupational safety with a focus on construction industry. Adri has experience in leading projects with labour organisations and organizations of employers (social dialogue). He was Intensively involved in the implementation of the EG92 / 57 Directive, collective agreements on occupational safety, development of instruments and tools, production of information on occupational safety in construction. His experience is on the management of H&S in construction.
From 2006 he has a working relation with Delft Technical University (section safety and security). From 1987 till 2016 he was a research manager on occupational safety.
From July 2016 he is owner and consultant at his own consulting company. His work field is occupational safety in mainly construction industry. His clients are employers’ organizations local government, clients and construction companies.
He has been a member of the NNI (Dutch Normalisation Institute) Police Committee Occupational Health and Safety, member of the Board of the ISSA Construction section (2015 2019), member of the Central Examination Committee VCA (2012 - 2021), examiner Higher Safety Practitioner School PHOV (2011 - present) and Chair / Coordinator working committee of Construction NVVK (1992 - present).
R&D on instruments in order to higher te level of safety on construction sites as there are; assessment tools, H&S planning tools, management of equipment tool, several social deals on H&S.
