B. (Ben) Riemersma
Ben Riemersma holds a MA. (research) in Modern History & International Relations from the University of Groningen. During his master’s degree he focused on energy policy and he continues to do so in Delft as a PhD candidate.
He studies safety in gas distribution systems and applies methods from Safety Science and Institutional Economics to understand what safety concerns emerge from ongoing transitions in the Dutch gas system and how institutional arrangements can be designed to mitigate these.
