H. (Hao) Sun

Profile

Hao Sun is a visiting Ph.D. candidate in Safety and Security Science Group under the supervision of Dr. Ming Yang. He obtained his MSc in Safety Engineering at the China University of Petroleum (East China) in June 2019. He is also a Ph.D. candidate at the China University of Petroleum (East China). His research interests include safety and security, safety barrier performance assessment, and resilience engineering.

Research

Hao’s research focuses on developing models and methods to quantify dynamic risk and resilience of process systems to ensure the system safety. Research topics include dynamic risk assessment and resilience engineering.
