In my career I always aimed to make software as understandable, robust and maintainable as possible. The PVE project appeals to me because it can help policy makers better understand the preferences of the public, and help the public better understand the constraints of government.
Good software is important to make PVE studies transparent and widely accessible, and I'm happy to use my software development skills for that goal!
