Dr. Jazmin Zatarain Salazar

My name is Jazmin Zatarain Salazar and I am an Assistant Professor of Policy Analysis.  My research interest focus on advancing multi-objective decision support for siocio-environmental systems.  I currently lead the Hippo DAI Lab where we attemto to discover how to make AI fair and useful for societal challenges, how to minimize unintended consequences of AI-based decision support and how to improve accountability in algorithmic design.  Climate change resilience and spatio-temporal justice is at the heart of our scientific developments.
