Blending your education – DigiTelPro online course

Comprehensive online training to develop and offer blended teaching to campus students

Starting March 2022, the Blending your education online course gives you as lecturer a host of resources, insights, experiences, best practices and learning theories that you can apply to your campus course design and structure, as well as to its content, and offer it in a blended format to your students. You will be able to redesign your course to be more inclusive and engaging - evaluating your current course and creating a clear improvement plan.

DigitelPro for post-Covid education

Offered within the EU project DigitelPro of which TU Delft is a partner, this upcoming training is based on lessons learned and advice from groups of university experts in digital education and practices – developed during the Corona crisis. It addresses students readiness and sits alongside two other courses which focus on synchronous hybrid and online distance education. All three courses aim to support teachers in making deliberate choices in educational design and giving them the instruments to actualise these choices.

Course details and registration

Watch the recording of the course introductory session held on 18 November and register for the course to find out more, including timings and content.

The course runs from March to July 2022 (16 weeks in total) and consists of seven modules that can be taken independently from each other. It includes videos, articles, quizzes and discussions as well as synchronous sessions and other interactive activities.

Addressing feelings of isolation

A forthcoming article on blended learning describes some of the biggest challenges faced during the harsher times of COVID, and some of the darker moments for students – in order to explain how to help prevent and address feelings of isolation in online education and tackle student disengagement.
Check out the initial findings for the article in the webinar: Open Discussion on Gamification and Serious Games

Going forward, it is the intention that anyone will be able to access and use the course resources, which will be publicly available, and that universities – including TU Delft, will include the DigitelPro course(s) in their UTQ programs.
