NMR Facility

Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) is an indispensable analytical technique applied in chemistry, biology and engineering research fields. Depending on the research question, NMR is able to reveal chemical structures, determine the concentration and reaction rates, detect certain (NMR-active) nuclides etc. Currently, the Facility of Applied Sciences operates with two spectrometers: one for the measurements in liquid-state (walk-in 400MHz Agilent NMR) and another for the solid-state analysis (wide-bore 500MHz Bruker NMR).
