I am Master student working with PhD candidate Chunyu Huang in her project to develop metal-organic frameworks (MOF) for odour-based selective recognition of veterinary disease. My part will be to synthesis one such MOF type and engineer it to have additional functionality.
During my BSc thesis, I also worked in the CE group, but on a purely computational project. There I worked on using a less computationally costly method to screen functionalized MOFs for their rotational dynamics.
I look forward to actually synthesising these fascinating materials and analysing their properties.
