Research
The Section Reactor Physics and Nuclear Materials (Department of Radiation Science and Technology) of the Faculty of Applied Sciences analyses and designs innovative nuclear reactor systems to improve the safety and economy of nuclear energy. The scope ranges from Advanced Boiling Water Reactors with natural circulation, High Temperature Gas-cooled Reactors, Fluidized bed nuclear reactors to Accelerator Driven Systems and Nuclear materials chemistry including fuel and fission products behaviour and radioactive waste management and disposal.
