The Lightvan

The Lightvan provides a mobile light laboratory in the cargo space of a Mercedes Sprinter cargo van. This unique set-up allows research to be carried out at any location. The Lightvan welcomes researchers working with artificial light, daylight or glass. Think for example switchable glass or shading.

The test area can be completely darkened, allowing research on both artificial light and daylight. White curtains, a carpet and office furniture are available to furnish the test area,. The Lightvan can be set up to accommodate a test subject and a researcher at the same time.

It is possible to mount a range of test setups in the back of the Lightvan. For this purpose, 'passe-partouts' are available. These are frames which can fit, for example, windows or screens. In consultation, it is also possible to customise your own passe-partout. For daylight research, various test models can be included in these passe-partouts.

More information about the Lightvan can be found on her website (Dutch).
