TU Delft's Hortus Botanicus has been conducting botanical research and education for more than 100 years. It is a source of biodiversity, innovations and applications that also contributes to TU Delft's sustainability ambitions.
This tour starts at 12:30pm with a brief introduction on biodiversity by dr. James Byng. The group will then be divided in two groups. One group explores biodiversity in the Hortus with James Byng, the other group discovers what the Hortus greenhouses have to offer. The tour will be 60 minutes.
