After obtaining my BSc degree in Molecular Science and Technology at Leiden University and TU Delft, I studied Chemistry at Leiden University. During my master thesis I worked on the oxygen reduction reaction catalysed by a cobalt complex fixed on an electrode surface. For this project, I combined several electrochemical methods to study the designed catalyst.

In January 2020, I started as PhD candidate in the group of Prof. Dr. Houtepen as part of the InP team. We aim to develop next generation InP based quantum dots for high intensity lighting applications. My contribution to this project is to study the stability of our quantum dots upon charging. In our group, the charging and stability are studied by combining spectroscopy and electrochemistry allowing us to see the changes in optical properties after charge injection.
