Kickboxing is a martial art that involves the use of hands and legs. It originated in Japan and the United States, with the sport in Japan being derived from Thai boxing. In the U.S., it is considered a martial art in which several martial arts merge. Here, therefore, you are allowed to use the full body.

Kickboxing is a very intensive high-intensity sport. This is because you use your whole body and your muscles are constantly tightened. The speed of the fights has a very positive impact on your fitness.

This ticket hour is for all levels! During the training sessions, you work as much as possible on your fitness, technique and discipline. You will learn all kinds of different boxing and kicking techniques, such as the jab and the low kick. Kickboxing is solid fitness training with lots of technical exercises.

Shely Santana dos Santos

Shely started practicing Capoeira when he was eight years old. In 2007 he started as a Capoeira instructor, until 2013 in Argentina. Besides Capoeira, Shely started kickboxing in 2004. In 2009 he had his first professional fight.

Practical Information

To use our boxing gloves, an inner glove is required. You need to bring this yourself. 

Wear comfortable (sports) clothing. A shirt and (semi-) long pants are recommended.
