Innovating education – sharing ideas with peers from across Europe

In April 2023, seven higher education institutions took part in the Spring edition of the TU Delft Exchange Week.

Looking to learn and share experiences on how to innovate education, over 30 attendees from Aalto University, Politecnico Torino, AGH University of Science and Technology, Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona, SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences, Technical University of Denmark, Hague University of Applied Sciences, Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, and SRUF/Nplus joined the 3-day program of talks, workshops, guided tours, and experiments.

Hosted by the TU Delft Teaching Academy together with the Extension School, NewMedia Centre, Teaching & Learning Services, and the Taskforce Education Spaces, they discussed topics ranging educating ‘the engineer of the future’, to using education spaces and multimedia (including AR/VR and podcasting) to improve education, from available research opportunities and data sharing, to enabling a quality culture for collaboration and continuous improvements.

Experts from the Extension School also shared insights into designing inclusive and diverse education and conducted an inspiring, hands-on workshop on course development – which was very well-received.

To allow even more people to directly experience innovation in education, registration is now open for the Autumn TU Delft Exchange Week, from 29 November to 1 December.

Once more, participants can apply for the Erasmus+ staff mobility grant.
