Summer Buddy
Recently, you received the name and contact details of your summer buddy. Your online summer buddy is a first or second year student from the same MSc Programme and is there to prepare you best as possible for your study and stay in Delft and the Netherlands. During a couple of online sessions with you and your fellow students you can ask questions and every session the buddy will point out a topic. Also, you will already get to know your fellow students.
We offer you this opportunity as it will give you a good start of your studies and life here. Please make sure to contact your buddy right away.

Important matters

TU Delft advises all students to have sufficient medical insurance and personal liability insurance. It is your own responsibility to be sufficiently insured on the date of your departure to the Netherlands.

Are you a current or new international non-EU/EEA student, residing in the Netherlands with a Residence Permit for Study Purpose? According to the Modern Migration Policy Act (MoMi), TU Delft is obliged to monitor your study progress. Your residence permit is valid for the duration of your education.
You keep this residence permit if you obtain at least 50% of the required credits for each academic year.
Online Tools & Services

In the Study Guide (or course browser) you can find all information about a course (browse by entering the course code or name of the course), such as the course language, teaching period, necessary pre-knowlegde, etc. The information on the study guide is leading.

Student information concerning your study, programme, courses, assignments and progress can be found on the TU Delft digital platform of Brightspace. Only through Brightspace you will get announcements and other useful updates regarding the courses you are about to take. If you need to sign up for a group project for the course you are taking, you can do this via Brightspace as well. The updates will also be sent to your TU Delft webmail account.

In MyTUDelft you can find personal information such as your schedule, study progress and grades, personal details. If you need to register for a course or exam (not always necessary, see Newsletter June → Practical Matters → Courses and Enrollment), this should also be done in MyTUDelft.

All recorded lectures playing afterwards from our Faculty can be found at Collegerama Video Portal. Once you have received your NetID from TU Delft you can access Collegerama. The NetID is a TU Delft pass to many facilities.
