The 29th BIWIC – International Workshop on Industrial Crystallization
The 29th BIWIC – International Workshop on Industrial Crystallization will this year be hosted by Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands, from September 11 to 13, 2024. The workshop organization is supported by Pro2Tech institute of Delft University of Technology.
The workshop has become an important part of the conference calendar for crystallization groups worldwide. The aim is to gather interested parties from academia, industry, and research institutes to discuss their work and exchange knowledge towards overcoming challenges and advancing the knowledge frontiers in industrial crystallization. It is also a great opportunity to initiate (or expand) your connections with renowned scientists and industry leaders in the crystallization field in a friendly atmosphere.
The first BIWIC was held in Bremen, Germany in 1990 and has since been organized in Germany, France, China, South Korea, Denmark, South Africa, the Netherlands, Thailand, Finland and Sweden.

You can submit your abstract when you (pre-)register via the registration link. Payment can be made later, but no later than the registration deadline of July 15th.
After submitting your abstract, we will let you know if it has been accepted for an oral or poster.
Deadlines
- 15th May, 2024: Abstract submission for oral presentation deadline
- 1st June, 2024: Early bird registration deadline
- 15th June, 2024: Abstract submission for poster presentation deadline
- 15th July 2024: Registration deadline
Early Bird fee is € 450 incl dinner and social activity.
As of June 1 the fee is € 550 incl dinner and social activity.
Disclaimer
In case of cancellation after registration we can only refund 50% of the fee until the registration closure date of June 1st, 2024. After that date it is not possible for us to refund cancellations. For cancellations please send an email to biwic2024@tudelft.nl
You will receive a one-time email with information from all Sponsors.
When submitting an abstract, you should consider the following:
- The abstract submission deadline for oral presentation is on 15th May, 2024
- A presentation should be no longer than 20 minutes, including Q&A
- Use the BIWIC abstract template for submitting the abstract (see download button)
- Abstracts should be submitted in *.pdf format
- Name the abstract paper for submission like this: Lastname presenting author_Oral_BIWIC2024.pdf OR Lastname presenting author_Poster_BIWIC2024.pdf
You will be informed before the deadline of June 1st if your abstract is accepted.
The best poster will be rewarded a posterprize.
