Research

How do human drivers use road space, particularly when they share the same space? Motivated by this question, Yiru’s current research concentrates on better understanding vehicle coordination from the perspective of human behaviour and decision-making. This research is expected to contribute to the knowledge foundation for developing coordinated driving strategies for (Connected and) Automated Vehicles in urban traffic.

Committed to education, research and innovation in AI, data and digitalisation, TU Delft AI Labs embody the bridge between research 'in' and 'with' AI, data and digitalisation. They foster cross-fertilization between talent and expertise, working to increase the impact of AI in the fields of applied sciences, design techniques and society.
