Background

I obtained a BSc degree in Applied Physics and a dual MSc degree in Applied Physics and Science and Technology of Nuclear Fusion at Eindhoven University of Technology.
I pursued my PhD within the Fluids & Flows group at TU/e, focusing on the behavior of spherical particles in oscillating flows, ranging from a single particle to pattern dynamics.
Specifically, I have investigated the dynamics of a few particles and their two-way coupled interactions with the ambient flow. Next, I studied the formation of patterns and their characteristics in denser systems and finally explored methods to control particle behavior by manipulating the hydrodynamic interactions and properties of the confinement.

After defending my dissertation in December 2023, I started as a postdoc in the Garbin Research Group at TU Delft, where I will contribute my expertise on fluid mechanics to a wide range of projects.
